The Face I Outgrew

Inspired by a poem

She looked at the face she had worn for so long and realized it no longer belonged to her. It had carried her through the years she thought would never end, until one day it felt more like a memory than a reflection. Some versions of ourselves aren't lost. We simply wake up to find we've already outgrown them.
