The Burden of Seeing
Some answers arrive long before we're ready to live with them. I spent years wishing for certainty, believing it would make everything easier. Instead, it asked me to see people as they were, to see myself without excuses, and to let go of the stories I had been telling just to feel safe. It wasn't comfort that changed me. It was honesty. And somewhere inside that honesty, I found a quieter way to keep going.
