What the Seasons Kept
I used to think time decided what stayed and what disappeared. Now I think it only reveals what was always meant to remain. Some parts of my life have softened around the edges. I can't remember every detail anymore, and I don't need to. What mattered found its own way of staying with me. Not as something I carry, but as something that quietly carries me. When I look back now, I don't search for what I've lost. I notice what never really left.
